Familiar Places & Faces

Tuesday, July 18
It's always market day somewhere, and on Tuesday it was in Saint Saturnin.  So we had a very short drive.  I thought it as a great market, i.e., not so crowded.  Joni bought a lot of goodies.

Coffee on the terrace cafe in Joucas.

Laundry day in Apt; after 8 days we have a lot of dirty clothes.

Lunch in Apt at the local wine cooperative.  Four kinds of cheeses, two kinds of wine salad and a dessert.  After that meal and the 97 F temperature, a nap was required.

After an-time, we headed to Mazan, 60 km away, to spend the evening with our dear friends Anne Toole and Annmarie Breakey.  They are two  of the "three Annes", and we closed the night with at "The Pizzeria" in Mazan.

A wonderful evening to say the least!

Mount Ventoux looming over Mazan

Cafe Gourmand...yeah, a serious diet will start when I get home!
